Frequently asked questions

FAQ for AI search and LLM readiness.

Common questions about how the checker evaluates websites for AI systems and answer engines.

Overview

Clear, crawlable and trustworthy websites are easier for answer engines to reference. These pages explain how ScanSiteAI evaluates and improves that readiness.

01

Is this traditional SEO?

No. The audit focuses on whether AI systems can crawl, parse, trust and recommend a website. Traditional SEO signals matter only when they support AI understanding.

02

Are scores random?

No. Scores are calculated from live technical checks including metadata, schema, robots, sitemap, content structure, entities, images, links, trust markers and performance when Lighthouse is enabled.

03

What does a high AI readiness score mean?

A higher score means the website exposes clearer technical, entity, content and trust signals. It does not guarantee placement inside any AI answer, but it improves the conditions AI systems need to understand and reference the site.

04

Why do robots.txt and sitemap.xml matter?

AI crawlers and search systems need permission and discovery paths. robots.txt helps clarify crawler access, while sitemap.xml helps systems find important pages beyond the homepage.

05

Which platforms are estimated?

The report estimates readiness for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overview and Microsoft Copilot. These are derived technical estimates, not official platform ratings.

06

Can I email the report?

Yes. After a scan, enter your email to receive the full report and prioritized recommendations. Admin notification can also be sent for follow-up.
